i have had an issue lately with telemarketers calling my cell phone, “issue” meaning 15 calls in a week, some from people i have asked to stop calling and told it was a cell number. the FCC regulations prohibit telemarketers from calling cell phones, so not only are all 15 in trouble, but the ones who keep calling after i tell them are really in trouble. i’ve been working with my brother, making a list of who has called and when they’ve called and what they’ve said, if they’ve said anything.
i think the worst part [well, besides the fact that it's just annoying], is the invasion of privacy i feel, since i have no idea how my number got out. i’m always super careful about putting any of that information out, since well, i try to avoid situations like this. so now here i am, trying to fix all of it, when someone else caused the problem. how obnoxious… regardless, i’m hoping with the reporting of these numbers, there will be a resolution to the problem. otherwise, i may just give up on technology.
